Sad news...

I know it is never good news when I have a voicemail left for me on Friday morning before 8am. Sad news it was...my little 5 month old CASA lost his amazing struggle with life, passing away just before midnight on Thursday August 21st. He had know idea how many people loved him and fought to have him. He taught me so much in his little life.

• He taught me to smile when things are not going your way.
• He taught me to fight against all odds, even when the doctors don't think it is possible.
• He taught me that a 5 month old does have an opinion.
• But he ultimately taught me that even the smallest of children need someone to speak up for them, and I hope I did that for him.

My little guy was a fighter to the end, and I am so blessed to have had his life touch mine.
