The Fat-est Place on Earth...

I have not fallen off the face of earth, but I have been in Florida. I was hanging out with Mickey in the happiest place on earth, Disney World.

But I would really like to rename it the Fat-est Place on Earth. By no means am I a thin person, but at Disney World I would consider myself a thin person. Had I not been sweating like a pig, because of the humidity, I could have found myself a date. In comparison to most people there I was HOT! I think Disney World is a sad representation, but an accurate representation, of America. We are FAT, FAT, FAT people. Now, Disney World is a very large place and there is a lot of walking. My feet were very tired by the end of the first day. My ankles also hurt and let me tell you why...

That's right...the motorized scooter!! People you are fat, get up out of the "rent-a-scooter" and WALK!! It's not like they give these people a driving test before they hand over the keys to the scooter, nope, they pay the fee and away they go running into my ankles. I even was witness to some lady almost get whip lash because she ran into the railing in line. That's right, in line, come on people your standing in line, you don't need a scooter!!! How lazy have we become as Americans that we can't even go to Disney World without a stupid motorized scooter? These scooters were EVERYWHERE! I think there needs to be a physical fitness test before entering Disney World, there should be NO rent-a-scooters aloud. Once again, I am not the thinnest or most fit, but if I can walk for 5 days around Disney World, than so can you!

Labor Day

This is how my Labor Day weekend started...
This is Paul changing a flat tire on the side of the road.
On our way to Bear Lake Paul and Elisa's trailer got a flat tire. Emily was riding with me and as I pulled to the side of the freeway, Emily asked, "Aunt Krystal is there a red light?" That kid kills me. I told her no, but that her mom and dad had a flat tire. She didn't seem too concerned as she went back to watching her movie. Emily likes to travel with Aunt Krystal because I have a portable DVD player (I'm no dummy).
So I picked up Elisa, Zach and the flat tire and we headed to Coalville to get it fixed. We left Paul on the side of the road to deal with the remaining mess. Just our luck, as we arrived at the ONLY tire store in Coalville they were at lunch. On that note, with nothing to do in a small town, we went to lunch.

My little Zach at lunch.

Here are the kids enjoying their lunch in the back of the truck.

We picked up lunch and headed back to Paul with the new tire. I've decided that I need to run a tire store in the middle of no where, because you can get away with charging a ridiculous amount of money to get a flat tire fixed. It was an adventure none the less.

We finally made it to Bear Lake after our hour and a half detour. We had a great weekend.
